Oppo Reno 5K with 90Hz screen, soC Snapdragon 750G launch
Oppo has launched a new Reno smartphone in China. This is the Reno 5K and it comes with similar specs to the Reno 5 5G. Oppo already has four smartphones in the series, including Reno 5, Reno 5 Pro and Reno 5 Pro +.
Oppo has yet to reveal pricing details for the Reno 5K, but the smartphone is slated to go on sale on March 6. It has two variants of 8GB RAM + 128GB storage and 12GB RAM + 256GB storage. The smartphone will be available in three color options: Green Breeze, Midnight Black and Starry Dream.
In terms of specs, Oppo Reno 5K has a 6.43-inch Full HD + OLED display with 90Hz refresh rate and a hole-punch camera. It also has a built-in fingerprint sensor. The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 750G processor paired with the Adreno 619 GPU. It also supports expandable storage up to 256GB via a microSD card and has UFS 2.1 storage.
It has a quad-camera setup with a 64-megapixel main sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, a 2-megapixel macro sensor, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. For selfies, Oppo Reno 5K sports a 32-megapixel front camera.
The smartphone packs a 4300 mAh battery with support for SuperVOOC2.0 and SuperVOOC 3.0 fast charging technologies. Its connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. On the software side, Oppo Reno 5K runs ColorOS 11.1 based on Android 11.
